What Makes a Good Bimetal Blade: M42 Teeth
Not all teeth are created equal. If your business depends on your bandsaw, don’t settle for “ordinary” bimetal bandsaw blades. These blades have teeth made from general-purpose tool steel, usually M2.
Quality bandsaw blades have teeth made from M42, a cobalt alloy tool that stays hard and durable at high temperatures. Bimetal bandsaw blades with M42 teeth run faster and last longer than “ordinary” bimetal blades. Our Hellbender GP blades deliver M42 teeth at price point that should make anybody selling an ordinary blade blush.
